Supporting Community Youth and Families

Picture
All grants from the Issaquah Community Network support healthy youth and strong families.  Athletes for Kids, for example, pairs high school athletes with young students who face social or developmental disabilities.  At the spring graduating seniors banquet shown here, parents spoke eloquently of the strong relationships created for their children and families through this unique program.  ICN supported Athletes for Kids with a $1,750 grant for the 2011-2012 year.  The grant provided training and mentor support for student athletes involved in the program.
